9th Annual Open Barn recap

Wow! What an event!

As usual, I was in the pasture with the alpacas helping guests meet & mingle with the herd. So this means I only took a few pictures.

We welcomed approximately 475 people over the course of the 6 hour day.

I could see the parking pasture all day ā€” watching cars come and go steadily was so heartwarming.

Mike was working the parking operations with his dad, Jim, and my dad, Tom. It was so busy no one really got to take many pictures, but they did say that they thought there was definitely 50 cars in the pasture at one point.

The weather was pretty incredible, too. Blue skies and sunny! It got close to 80 degrees

Probably the highlight for this year was getting Walter & Wyatt shorn.

We closed up at 4 and then had a nice pizza party in the farmhouse. We went around the room with each crew member to take note of the things that worked and the things that need tweaking for next year.

It was such a great time and Iā€™m so grateful for all those who came out!
