Join me for a half-day Natural Dye Workshop here at the farm in Walla Walla — held inside our old (very charming) milking parlor that now serves as my dye space.
Saturday, April 25 from 12-4pm
This will be a hands-on, soil-to-skein experience where I’ll teach you:
• How to properly mordant yarn
• How I cultivate and harvest dye plants
• How to build and manage a dye bath
• How to finish yarn for lasting, luminous color
We’ll be dyeing sport and lace weight yarn from our own alpacas, and you’ll go home with the yarn we create that day.
You’ll also leave with dye seeds and starter transplants so you can begin your own dye garden.
Light refreshments (water, coffee, granola bars). Fresh air. Fiber. And yes — time to meet the alpacas.
Due to limited capacity, tickets are non-refundable but you can transfer them to a friend if you can’t make it.
